Is it possible to define the absolute and/or relative location of the runtime folder. For instance, we are deplyoing a bunch of ArcGIS Runtime for Java applications.

ArcGISRuntime10.1
- LocalServer32

- LocalServer64
Applications
- MapApplication

- lib

- icons

- data

MapApplication.jar

- GeocodeApplication

- lib

- icons

- data

GeocodeApplication.jar

Any application should use the same runtime folder. We do not want to copy the ArcGISRuntime10.1 folder to each application folder where the *Application.jar is located.
How would you suggest to achieve (e.g. java/system environment variable) that?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Jan,

This is possible at Pre-Release and Final.  Starting at pre-release there is an ArcGISRuntime class that contains a static method "setInstallDirectory" where you will be able to specify where you Runtime is located.
