Hi everyone!! We are officially almost 10 weeks away from the Esri User Conference in San Diego, which means we are that much closer to the GIS Manager's Summit!! It will be held on Sunday July 14th.

A reminder that the summit is free with your UC registration. You can add it to your personal agenda by going to this website and hitting the "Attend the summit" blue button on the left of the screen which takes you to the bottom of the page and if you have not registered, click the link on the left, if you have already registered, click the link on the right.

We have an amazing line up scheduled for you this year with a diverse group of people from many industries and sectors. In the coming weeks we will be spot lighting some of our attendees and their topics. We really look forward to seeing you there and we're here to answer any questions you may have. Last year we had over 250 attendees and I have a feeling we are going to surpass that this year.

Come hang out with us and your fellow GIS managers and leaders to network, share ideas, and learn from each other. Our theme this year is going to be "The Path to Geospatial Excellence". I've also attached an accompanying flyer if needed.   Jim Pardue

I also have the pleasure of co-facilitating with Tim Haynes, the GIO/CDO from the City of Philadelphia, to explore the various components of Engagement. Tim will be sharing his experiences, best practices, and wonderful ways that he has earned executive sponsorship, communicated across the organization, and how he uses his passion to drive excitement to explore geospatial solutions that create value for the city! It will be a great conversation!

We can't wait to highlight the new GIS Request Management solution at this year's summit.  This solution came to life after @Kara_Shindle approached us with an idea at last year's conference.

If you're interested in learning more about GIS Request Management prior to its release in late June 2024, check out this sneak peek.
