Howdy GISers. Question for Australian users. Do any of you know much about the upcoming replacement of the NSW Six Maps clip & ship service with the SDT Explorer? I only ask as cannot find much out there and communication to NSW Spatial goes unanswered.

We use clip&ship every day. It's a quick and easy way of gathering all the topo and cad data that we need for our work. Select an area, select a CRS and format and then it will be packaged and sent to you. SDT claims to be replicating this, but I cannot for the life of me see a clip & ship option. Selecting data to have on the map is now awfully onerous, you cannot select an area of interest and there's absolutely no option for exporting (other than useless screenshots).

Have I completely missed something, or is SDT a significant step backwards?

In an update from NSW Spatial, clip n ship is actually remaining - which is fantastic news. Just a problem with their messaging, which they will fix.
