Hello All,

I am a graduate student working on sea turtle research and have created an app using the quick report template on AppStudio to log turtle sightings worldwide. However, I have a couple bugs in my app such as, the Done button on the Add Details page causing my app to crash, and words in the instruction pages being transformed into symbols on occasion (see attached photo). Along with this I would also like the offline capability added into my application for those who do not have constant access to wifi or satellite networks. I am interested in hiring someone who knows the QML language that could look into adding this ability and figuring out the bugs in my code. We are collaborating with another organization so it would need to be done as soon as possible. Please e-mail me at dbaumbach@llu.edu if you are interested along with a quote for how much your services will cost.

Thank you,

Dustin

Dustin,

Out of curiosity, have you posted this inquiry at other jobs-like places like the GIS  Job Clearinghouse and other Free Lance type websites?

Hi Adrian,

No I have not. What would you recommend? If there is a site that I can hire someone quickly to do the coding that would be great. Please let me know.

Thank you,

Dustin

Dustin,

There are tons of places to post jobs. It sounds like you need more of a one-time-help kind of thing instead of an employee. Searching the internet, you can find lots of places to post this but I would post in :

The GIS Jobs Clearinghouse

https://www.upwork.com/ (https://www.upwork.com/o/jobs/browse/skill/gis/ )

http://www.gisjobs.com/

And Esri has this list you can look through:

http://www.esri.com/what-is-gis/jobs#job-listings

At least that can be a start. Hopefully some QML expert can help you out!
