Thought I'd share my presentation slide deck in case any of it is useful to anyone. My audience was seventh graders, so I went for highly visual with minimal words and broke up the talking parts with a few videos. Because of all the visuals the file size is about 31 MB, which is too big to upload directly, so here's a link to download it.

It's meant to be run through PowerPoint, i.e., Google Slides won't give you the full experience of slide transitions, effects, etc. But I put notes for each slide and links to image sources, almost all public domain/creative commons stuff, so hopefully it's easy enough to repurpose with your own images or to remake it to work better with Google Slides if needed.
