Hi there,
My windows 10 machine ran an update to version 1709 last week. Probably two hours of updates.
Ever since ArcGIS 10.4.1 has become unstable for me when batch geoprocessing within both ArcMap and ArcCatalog.
Any (simple e.g. batch field calculation) geoprocessing involving more than ~10 feature classes at a time, or multiple geoprocessing functions within the same ArcMap session cause ArcMap to crash with a windows error message (as opposed to the ArcGIS has encountered an error screen).
I also get ActiveX warnings now for every input to any geoprocessing tool.
Such functions were never an issue before, so something decidedly screwy is going on and seriously hampering my work.
Is this a known issue and are others experiencing something similar? I haven't seen any posts about this recently.
Hi Richard,
We are experiencing somewhat similar issues. We are getting the exact same active x popup with GP tools and also experiencing much slower launch times for mxd documents. We installed the same windows update on the 1st of March before running into these problems.
