Hi,
I am using ArcGIS 10.6. I have used the Spatial Join tool many times in the previous version (ArcGIS 10.4), without any problem. This is the first time I use it in this version. After doing the job and claiming the spatial join was successfully done, it turns out that no feature class has been created. When I try again, curiously, the new feature class seems to be named nameofthefeatureclass_2, thus suggesting nameofthefeatureclass_1 indeed exists somewhere.
Am I doing something wrong?
Best wishes
Miguel
PS: sorry for my English...
Miguel,
Were there any error messages with the join operation?
Can you go into the geodatabase and find the file that was (or wasn't) created?
Are any of your features selected?
Are your feature classes in the same coordinate system?
Hi Adrian,
Thank you for your answer. I apologise for this thread. After many attempts leading to posting my question here, I restarted my computer, started working on it again, and inexplicably it worked, and a feature class was created. I am wondering what happened.
Best regards
Miguel
