Setting a default directory for an ArcToolbox file parameter

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to find out if it is possible to set a default directory location to use when using a File parameter in ArcToolbox.

The file data type allows for a default, but only a default file. When the user clicks on the folder icon to select a file the default location is the standard default location of the last file loaded into which ever program your using.

I have tried fiddling around in the validation settings, but can't find anyway of  doing this.

Has anyone been able to do this?
