Pass variable to liniar units in model builder

Hello,

I need to change the numeric value in a "Linear Unit" variable using an inline variable. However, I can't add an inline variable:

I am trying to change the distance between points based on calculated values using the Generate Points Along Lines tool in ArcGIS Pro 2.2

Any help would be appreciated.

You can accomplish this using Calculate Value:
