Memory issue with arcpy scripts since installation of Drone2Map

Since I've installed Drone2Map, my (relatively heavy) arcpy scripts (not related to Drone2Map) run into a memory issue and either crash (in PyCharm), or never complete (in Pro or IDLE). I've since uninstalled Drone2Map and Pro (including cleaning registries etc), and reinstalled Pro only, but the issue remains.

These scripts have been running for 5 years without any problem, even when I run several at the same time. The peculiar thing is that with some of them, I'm not even saving anything in memory. It's not related to the data. Looks like installing Drone2Map somehow changed the memory allocation on the computer, or the way the memory is flushed, and I can't fix this. Something builds up in the memory until it crashes.

When PyCharm crashes, Pro and Chrome crash as well.

I've made a few tests with Drone2Map when it was still installed, and it used to run fine.

Any idea on what's going wrong? I basically can't do my work anymore.

Since you mention 5 years... and assuming you are running Pro 3.1 now, does your computer still meet the recommended specs? (first link on this page)

Yes, my computer is not 5 years old. I use Pro 3.1 and pass the recommended settings.

I launched one of those scripts just before installing Drone2Map and it was processing at a normal pace, then a bit later the same day (after the installation) it crashed. Otherwise I might also blame the migration to Windows 11 (a few weeks ago, hadn't used those heavier scripts since).

Hi Dan, thanks for the research, but this doesn't apply in my case (I use Pro 3.1 and didn't have any issue with Drone2Map itself)
