Measuring distance from a point inside a polygon to the frontier

Dear community,

I am trying to measure the distance from points inside a polygon to polygon’s frontier.  tried the Near Distance command but it only measures the distance for points outside the polygon. For the features that are inside, it returns 0. What command should I use?

I would convert the polygon to polyline first, then run the Near Distance tool.
