After banging my head for at least an hour trying to figure out why I was getting a 'ERROR 999999: Error executing function. Failed to execute (Near)' I finally went with Generate Near Table. I ensured that my point file (the Input Features) was in the same projection as my polygon file (Near Features). Unfortunately, the ERROR 999999 is basically useless in diagnosing the issue. Anyone have any thoughts on the matter?
