I am having problems with raster to gdb.

My problem consists in this simple thing:

When I try to load a raster to gdb which is like 500 mb, 1 gb, 4-5 gb it will load perfectly. When I try to load a raster that is 10-15-20 gb or more it says that is loading/in process, however it is not doing anything. Is there an option that is blocking this thing or is there something that I am doing wrong.

Note: I am working on the company software so I am not sure if there is a software limitation from the administrator or something else.

You are probably running up against the limitations of your machine's available memory or you don't have the data stored on your local computer but on a server or some other "remote" location.

There are too many possible issues, so unless you are working on an extremely high end machine with locally stored data, then you can expect delays as Pro does its thing

The idea is I am doing the process in ArcMap and haven't tried Pro yet. Another thing is that I am doing all these processes in Local drive, so there shouldn't be an issue from the server. I checked also if the data in itself was faulty but no. Also tried doing the process from another computer and the same thing happens. Last thing is that my colleague did this process before with other rasters so this has been quite the puzzle.

Pro is different than Arcmap.  Try it in Pro.

Consider the computer and not just the software, perhaps the data you want to process is too large to be handled without tiling it first.

Tried it in Pro and it worked. Thanks for the help. Kinda want to find a solution also for ArcMap just to helps the others in need. Probably is some sort of setting that is not activated or actuvated incorrectly in my software.

Not a likely situation, help others move on to pro or do the analysis for them and pass it back..  ArcMap is at the end of the trail
