Feature to Polygon Tool - Attribute transfer not working

Hi guys

I´m working with ArcGIS Desktop 10.5.1 and running the Feature to Polygon Tool . The Tool did the conversion very well but without attributes. Of course I´m check the option Preserve Attributes. It´s a bug or I´m missing somenthing?

Did you find a solution for your issue? I've got the same thing here with ArcGIS Pro 2.4.1.

The workaround here worked for me: https://community.esri.com/message/16748 , yet I would love to know why the preserve attributes button did not work...

Same issue here in Pro 2.4. No attribute info comes over when running this tool. I also get 3x the number of polygons as # of lines I began with. These are all closed polylines but any overlapping area results in another polygon. I need a 1 to 1 conversion with attributes from the lines.
