Erase Tool

In the Habitat Analysis tutorial, it asks you to use the erase tool to erase the buffer zones. But, I don't have that tool in the Overlay toolset. What can I use to substitute? Thanks.

This tool is only available with ArcInfo licenses. If you are not licensed you can use this alternative from Susan Jones.
