Disaggregate Objects

Hello,

I there a tool similar to the 'Disaggregate Objects' function in MapInfo.

I have a large dataset of individual polygons but the all select when I try to select one of them.

I like Dan's answer and would go with that... additionally, you may like to know there is a tool (think it is called 'Explode') on the Advanced Editing toolbar that essentially does the same thing, just doesn't write to a new fc.  Here's the 10.1 help ref:
