Deleting intermediate shapes from modelbuilder

Hello,

I recently converted to ArcGIS 10.0 from 9.3.1 and reworked a few of my models to be compatible in the new software. Most are working OK, but the intermediate shapefiles created in the process are not being deleted from the workspace. Basically, I want the intermediate shapefiles that were created in the model, in order to produce an end shapefile, to be deleted from my workspace. Is there an easy way to accomplish this? Thank you!

Right click the outputs (green ovals) of your tool which create the intermediate shapefiles and make sure the Intermediate option is checked.

If you are running the model from within ModelBuilder you have to manually delete the intermediate data (Model drop down menu and click Delete Intermediate Data)

If you are running from  the model tool dialog it will get deleted with the Intermediate checked. Refresh your catalog to see.
