Creating 2D Building Shadow

Hi,

I need a tool to generate building footprint shadow for a specific time and date. I need the shadows as a polygon layer. Have you heard about a tool or script about this?

See this site for ArcGIS scripts to generate building shadows.

You'd need to determine sun azimuth and altitude for the particular date/time yourself and pass them as parameters to the script.
