Change commas to points in table of shape file, ArcMap

Hey,

I have created a shapefile with quite some information in the attribute table, but have used commas in stead of points which is required for my further work ( I will rasterize it later to use as model input). As the table columns are formatted as Float (numbers), they cannot take points in them, and I dont manage to change the format.

Any suggestions?

As the field is a numeric field, ArcMap is not actually storing the commas as part of the value. If you right click the field name > Properties... > Numeric > Do you have Show thousands separators checked?
