I am working with multiple tables of point data that I need to combine into one. Pivot table seemed the best tool for the job, rather than merge, because it added new OIDs while merging values for OIDs that overlapped. Unfortunately, if an OID was only represented in one of the tables, its value in every other field (added from the other tables) automatically became 0. This skews the data by creating false zeros where in fact that field was not measured at that point. Is there a way to create a pivot table that preserves nulls, or should I be using a different tool?
