I have a building footprint (.shp) including the height of buildings. (Attachment)
How would it be possible computing the shadow of buildings at a more or less a certain time of the day of the year?
I would be also interested in computing the amount of incoming solar energy in that day...
I'm using ArcGIS 10.3 (all the extensions are available) in Win 8.1.

Note: you will need a copy of the 3D Analyst extension.
