Hello all,

I am trying to follow this: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/geodatabases/overview/modifying-a-spatial-index.h... where it says to 'Validate a spatial index in SQL Server' but when I look at my feature class properties the "Validate" button is greyed out?

I'm running this Rebuild Indexes Geoprocessing tool in Pro https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/data-management/rebuild-indexes.htm so it says it rebuilds attribute and spatial indexes. So maybe I don't need to separately Validate the feature class spatial index and/or run the Recalculate Feature Class Extent (Data Management) GP tool?

Thanks!

If the Validate is grayed out, just run the recalculate and then recreate the spatial index, you can also drop the spatial index and create the spatial index again. Regards.
