Hello,

I would like to know if it's possible to add Geodatabase Enterprise (v10.5 or 10.6) on Microsoft Azure SQL Database (not SQL Server on Azure VM) ?

I found this but it's old :

System Requirements

ArcGIS geodatabases are not supported with Windows Azure SQL Database.

I also found this subject and I'm not sure if it's about sql server on Azure VM or Azure SQL Database :

Functionality differences for geodatabases in Azure SQL Database—ArcGIS Enterprise | ArcGIS Enterpri...

Use either Microsoft Geometry or Geography data types for the spatial fields in your feature classes; sdebinary storage is not supported.

What does that means ? If I had a geodatabase enterprise on SQL Server can I copy and past to and Geodatabase enterprise on Microsoft Azure SQL ?

Sylvain.

That help doc you reference is very old. Here is the latest and it looks like it is supported:

Microsoft Azure SQL Database requirements for ArcGIS 10.6.x—System Requirements | ArcGIS Desktop

I just created an enterprise geodatabase in Azure SQL. Here is the document https://community.esri.com/message/888931-enterprise-geodatabase-in-azure-sql-database .
