ArcFM Designer: When I execute copy design subtask it locks the current design in Workflow Manager

I need to create a copy of the existing design and when I take advantage of ArcFM CopyDesign subtask, it creates a copy (in wither current WR or new WR) but it locks the original design. Is there a way to unlock the original design or to create copies without locking the original designs?

Let me know the possible solutions.
