I have both arcgis pro 2.5 and arcmap 10.8 installed on my computer with limited space. I am not using gis pro 2.5 but I need arcmap 10.8, can I remove arcgis pro without any problems with arcmap?

Yes, you can delete the ArcGIS Pro application on your PC and use ArcMap without any issues on the same PC.  See this FAQ for this and more details.
