ArcPad installation error message

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to download ArcPad onto my Trimble Nomad 1050.  I have ArcPad successfully installed on my laptop computer. However, whenever I use the deployment manager and hit the "deploy" button, I get an error message that says "Cannot copy the file.  Make sure the mobile device is connected, that the mobile device has space available and is not write protected, and that all setup programs on the device have been completed. "

I have a dell laptop and it is the Windows 8.1 64 bit.  I have my nomad successfully synced through the windows mobile device center.  

Any suggestions?
