Despite the rainy weather, attendees engaged in a day full of meaningful conversations, tech demonstrations, insightful presentations, interactive panel discussions, and valuable networking opportunities. The event featured visit from Jack Dangermond, who shared his perspective on GIS evolution, future direction, and its growing value as an enterprise business system. The symposium highlighted the global impact of Esri technology, explored ArcGIS's business value in planning, asset management, and operations, and showcased real-world use cases demonstrating the profound impact of location intelligence in forestry. The day concluded with a social event at Esri’s Headquarters building, where attendees explored the Geo Experience Center, experiencing cutting-edge GIS developments and interactive exhibits. The symposium sets the stage for future collaboration and innovation in the forestry industry.

The retirement of ArcGIS AppStudio is coming up on March 1st, 2025.

After this date, the product will no longer be supported. Developer edition licenses will be taken away from all accounts, which means you won't be able to use the cloud make servers to make apps. While you can still work on your apps with Esri's help until the retirement date, we strongly suggest you start or continue moving your apps now for a smooth transition. It's important to plan ahead and act early to avoid any disruptions in your app development process.
