Hey y'all! I'm currently pursuing an M.S. in Spatial Data Science with Penn State University. I've also completed their Geospatial Programming & Web Map Development Graduate Certificate and another GIS Graduate Certificate from Michigan State. I'm at the Esri UC 2024 Conference this week, so if you're here too, I'd love to meet up! I recently moved to San Diego, CA from Japan, but I'm originally from the DC area. I got my Bachelor's from George Mason University and did not have any background in GIS until I started my graduate work. I have a small portfolio on meredithmartinez.com, which I will continue adding to as I keep taking classes. Although I have about 7+ years of experience, I'm currently looking for my first GIS role!
