I got everything installed with Geoportal on a Windows Server 2008 standard with Tomcat 7.0.  But everytime I click on the Search tab, I am directed to the Home page.  So it never shows.  I have tried reinstall database, LDAP.  Doesn't work.  I went and looked at the log files, and I do see this being show.  No sure if it would tell you anything:

Jan 30, 2011 4:31:28 PM org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationDispatcher invoke
SEVERE: Servlet.service() for servlet jsp threw exception
org.apache.jasper.JasperException: /catalog/search/results.jsp(455,12) "#{record.abstract}" contains invalid expression(s): javax.el.ELException: [abstract] is not a valid Java identifier

I setup the server using all the defaults and recommended programs outlined.  It works against a SQL Server 2008 DB.  Any ideas?

Nevermind, I solved it.  I was running Tomcat 7.0.  Once I went back to 6.0, it works fine!
