I used Publish Client bulk metadata portal. The tool is configured correctly according to ESRI tutorial, as PublishClient.properties file to view the log files. However the file. log does not show on the road that had been set.
On the other hand, the initial charge was performed without problems, however at a given time, the tool stopped working when they had loaded 10000 metadata and load remain to 6000.

In short I have two problems:
1. We can not access the log file for the cause of the problem
2. We can not continue loading metadata portal

Does anyone have an idea of how to access the file and / or limited because of the burden of metadata?

PS: sorry for my English

Thanks,

Let's start with the log file.  The PublishClient.properties file that you want to edit is in the ArcGIS Desktop bin folder (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\Desktop10.0\Bin).

You'll want to turn "debug=on" and set the value of the 'logFolder' to point to the path and filename you want to use for the log.

This process is performed at first, when I view the log file, this is not shown.

the settings made in the properties file is:

logFolder = C: publishClient.log
maxLogFileSizeInBytes = 500000000
debug = on

What I can not view the log file?.

I would appreciate the help that you could give me.

Greetings, Thanks

I managed to view the log file, as I have indicated. Also I managed to load the metadata documents using another user on the same pc that was the previous process. Therefore, I have managed to load all the metadata records.

Thank you very much for the help

Hi,

I am having problems publishing as well.  After selecting a resource to publish in the Catalog, I click the publish button and get what you see in the attached image.  Obviously, the path to the properties file is wrong!!  Where do I fix this?

Thanks,
Paul

* unable to publish resource from ArcCatalog using Publish client...
* unable to create log files under PublishClient location...
Did you guys figured out what was the root cause and how we can diagnose the issue...
