How to Publish data on Geoportal

I am new to Geoportal, I have installed Geoportal successfully, i have installed Geoportal Publish Client, I don't know how to publish data on Geoportal, kindly tell me how i can publish data on geoportal?

well what do u exactly mean ?
if u have installed geoportal just log in as the publisher and publish data and then use the admin login to approve it.

I am facing problem while login through publisher or any other account, when i enter userID and password a green tab "WelCome" appear on the Geoportal Web page but i dont login actually, same happen if i enter a fake username and password. I read from a documentation, when i will login sucessfully through administrator account, an administrator tab will be appeared on the Geoportal Web page, but when i login through admin account (username: gptadmin, password: secret), a green tab appear "Wellcome" but actually it dont login. Can you tell me what i am missing exectly??
