Geoportal LDAP Setting Not Working

hi

I am unable to get LDAP to work.  Whether I use fake or real credentials, I get the green welcome banner and thats it.  I don't get the administration tab.  I have put the single user credentials( encryption false) in the gpt.xml file.  What am I missing?

Did you resolve this problem? ive got same issue...and im newbie to geoportal.....i did everything by manual...but i just get a green banner only...administration tab is missing....

Check for errors in the log files.

Which LDAP Server? It took me a while to get Active Directory to work myself.
