I'm looking for the best and fastest way to generate automatic reports from our own data, by connecting to Feature Layer or directly to PostgreSQL database.
My company needs a quick solution to generate PDF reports because this is being requested by most of our clients.
ArcMap reporting tools are not suitable for us and we have tried some third party solutions like Crystal Report (ArcGIS doesn´t support Crystal Report anymore), JasperReports and many others. So we are currently looking for a web solution.
There are plenty of options like custom widgets for Web AppBuilder, JavaScript API, Python API, ReportLab library, etc.
Maybe we can use Web AppBuilder's report class: Report class—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS (Developer Edition) | ArcGIS for Developers
As additional info, we are working with ArcGIS Enterprise 10.5.1 and PostgreSQL 9.5 and we have ArcGIS Developer Suscription Enterprise.
