I am building my start up with KoopJS at the moment and I am having an issue where the only way that I can add a service to the portal is through the classic map viewer service on AGOL.

I have tried three different ways:

  • through the add a service (both as a url and a feature service url
  • through the new map viewer application
  • through the classic map viewer application

When I add via the content via url through the new item button on the main screen it will add the item to the portal, but there no features added to the map and the table is empty.

If I add it via the new map it will zoom to an off the chart map extent despite the projection and extent set in the koop service, but the table has all of the features.

The only way that I can successfully add to the portal is through the classic map from a url and then save the layer to the portal that way.

Please let me know if there is something wrong with my service or how I could add this to the portal more reliably. I don't want to be stuck not being able to add my product to portal with the retire of the classic map.

Here is the link to one of my Koop services that is working fine AGOL just so long as I import and save via the Classic Map View App

Hi Walter

I noticed no-one has responded to this, but if its still an issue for you have you tried referencing the url http://scoop.iotrans.it/services/rest/current_stops/FeatureServer/. Alternatively you may need to implement https in your koop server and reference the URL via https. Just some thoughts.
