I'd like to record georeferenced video data for use in Full Motion Video. I'm not too fussy about some of the more extensive capabilities of the add-in so the video file doesn't have to be too rich in metadata. I just want to be able to follow the path along which the video was taken in two dimensions.
I'd like to keep things as straightforward as possible by avoiding having to retrospectively add metadata through Multiplexer. Therefore I was wondering what hardware can create such a video file with a limited set of embedded metadata? Will video captured on a location enabled smartphone do the trick? Or a mid-range go-pro perhaps?
Does anyone have any experience that they can share with me? I'm currently running ArcGIS Pro 2.4.0.
