Hello everybody!
I am a programmer but totally new to ArcGis. I have been asked to create a pop-up style thingy for data input.
The idea is:
- Load the shape files on a tablet (which is not necessarily online)
- display the map and click on an object (polygon) in the map to get a little UI (dialog window like pop-up)
- set attributes for the object easily in the dialog window
- close the dialog to store the input in attribute table
I have been searching the online help for any quick hint on where to investigate further but was overwhelmed 😉
I need somebody to give me the right direction:
- What ArcGis products/ SDK's/ combination of technolgies... are able to this?
- What to search for in the help?
