Morning all, 

     I am looking for some best practices on how to maintain an ArcGIS Online solution.  

     Specifically, we have;

  • ArcGIS Pro publishing Base Maps and Tables. 
  • Survey 123 data Collections and resulting Feature LAyers.
  • Velocity - Publishing Feature & Stream Layers. 
  • Web Maps - That map in Layers set Styles, PopUps, and other features.
  • DashBoard that use these Web Maps. 
  • Experience Builder Applications.
  • ????  

    So the basic issue is how does one change a Base Map in Pro, publish it to Online and either (preferred) have all the references that utilize it updated automatically, or know specifically what objects are making use of this object.   A similar issue with Velocity outputs, if we create a Version two with a newer Schema and now need to know what objects need to be touched to use it, it seems like a manual hunt and peck process.

GeoJobe is an outside vendor that has software that can greatly simplify this process.  Their product Admin Tools might work for you to make this process easier.
