hello ,
I am trying to importing XML Document schema into the working File Geodatabase.
I have used Fme and tried also import xml workspace document at ArcGis pro but I got this error
The error number from ArcObjects is: '-2147220735'. The error message from ArcObjects is: {Unable to create object class extension COM component Then feature class name
How could I solve this problem ?
That sounds like there may be something related to ArcFM in the schema you are importing?
When I see that error it usually is related to ArcFM or a custom COM component in the source database.
What does it mean with custom component in database ?What should I do to solve this problem ?
Custom COM is usually from some sort of 3rd party program (non-Esri). That specific error code is for "dataset not found".
What version of ArcGIS Pro are you using?
What version of ArcGIS client created the XML file?
Can you copy over a feature class from the old DB to the new DB without any issues?
What type of data is in the XML file (or old geodatabase)?
Is the source data using a geometric or utility network?
I could potentially test it on my side if you are willing and able to send me the XML file. No promises of a solution, but another set of eyes.
I know that you are trying to use XML, but want to see if the results are the same.
i am preparing the data to migrate it to use into ArcGis pro .
the source data is geometric network
and I have exported xml from ArcCatalog for arcmap .,ArcGis Enterprise 10.8.1
the source data is electric network
i believe ,it will be hard to send xml file because the data belongs to my company .but could you provide me some tips that I could try to fix the problem ?
Is there any ideas that could help me ?
Esri Geodatabase Classic Geometric Network is supported only with ArcMap, and if you have an ArcFMized Geodatabase then also is only supported with the ArcFM extension for ArcMap.
ArcGIS Pro customers need to migrate to ArcFM XI and the new Esri ArcGIS Pro Utility Network + Branch Versioning Solution.

Geometric networks are a read-only dataset in ArcGIS Pro. ArcGIS Pro includes two capabilities you can use to manage, model, and analyze network systems: the Trace Network and the Utility Network.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- you must UnArcFMize your geodatabase, then migrate the geodatabase schema, update the ArcSDE Geodatabase Repository using ArcGIS Pro then convert your Classic Geometric Network to a Trace Network.
- you cannot use a Trace Network with ArcFM XI
- ArcFM XI works only with ArcGIS Pro and you must migrate to the ArcGIS Pro Utility Network + Branch Versioning.

@MarceloMarques Thanks for explanation ,
At my company , they migrate from ArcFM to UT-Editor since couple of years
but I believe now ,it is still some data relates to ArcFm.
1.What should i do to UnArcFMize ?
2.i would like to sure ,Does UT Editor use only classic geometric network ?
3.as info : source file is Esri geodatabase
1.What should i do to UnArcFMize ?
[Marcelo]:
Remember the ArcFM Solution Object Converter (schneider-electric.com)
For further assistance ArcFM Support Page https://arcfm.my.site.com/myarcfm/s/login/ you can create a support account and create a ticket or search the ArcFM forums.
2.i would like to sure ,Does UT Editor use only classic geometric network ?
[Marcelo]: I am not familiar with UT Editor, and you will have to reach out to the vendor of that software extension to inquire about it.
UT for ArcGIS – VertiGIS Support
3.as info : source file is Esri geodatabase
[Marcelo]: you need to check each featureclass and table type.
I hope this helps.
If you continue to experience an issue to migrate your data then open a Esri Technical Support ticket, if you still require further assistance then Esri Professional Services can help your company to migrate your data.
