Hi,
I would like to perform the tasseled cap function in ArcGIS 10.1 using Landsat 7 ETM+ data (one scene) downloaded from USGS. My Landsat data was downloaded as 8 separate bands stored as 8 separate .TIF files. It is my understanding that the tasseled cap function can be applied to a Mosaic Dataset. I have created a Mosaic Dataset (using Create Mosaic Dataset tool), but I am unable to add my landsat .TIF files to the mosaic dataset.
Do these .TIF files need to be converted before they can be added to a Mosaic Dataset?
Once I am able to add the Landsat data to a Mosaic Dataset, what is the appropriate method for processing the image as Tasseled Cap?
I appreciate any insight you may be able to share.
