We are trying to create spatial views out of annotation feature classes, after doing so (using the sdetable -o create_view command) the views are visible in ArcCatalog as a polygon feature rather than anno. We have been able to update 2 of the GDB tables so that the target spatial views underlying tables look the same as there source, then the spatial view becomes anno (icon changes and preview shows anno in ArcCatalog). This is a work around we don't really want to do. We were wondering if anyone else has had this issue or maybe its not supposed to work?
Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated.
