Our GIS data is currently in shapefile format, specifically our Hydrology layer. My goal is to convert this shapefile into a geodatabase to hold its curve data, but since it is in shapefile format originally, is there a way to convert the shapefile curve data into a geodatabase data. I know how to export shapefiles to a geodatabase. The issue we are having is since this layer is in a shapefile format, when zooming onto the curve, it is squared off rather than a smooth curve. Is there a way to convert that edged/squared line back into a smooth line to maintain the integrity of a curved lake and/or waterway.
