Hello,

I have a question relating to replication on ArcSDE 9.3.1 environment

Is ESRI replication possible between two ArcSDE Geodatabases each with different Oracle Spatial Types... one with ST_Geometry and the other with SDEBinary? I need to keep one environment in SDEBinary and would like to use replication to update the layers.

Any advice is appreciated!

Best regards
Paul

Hi Paul,

Yes, this is possible.  If you choose 'Show advanced options for overriding replica defaults when I click Next' within the 'Create Replica' dialog, you have the option to choose the Configuration Keyword of the child feature class(es) participating within the replica.  Ex:
