I have a tool that runs through an excel document, and gets lat, longs and depths to plot horizontal wells, when it runs it splits the wells into different files based on the Unique Well ID, i am wondering if anyone knows an easy was to run through a folder and rename them based off of the well name. I cant sort them by well name because some wells have the same names. Any ideas?
