I successfully imported a raster dataset into a file geodatabase.  When i load the raster into arcmap, it doesn't seem visible.  However, when i zoom in beyond 1:1000 the raster displays.  This was a Mr Sid that was directly imported into a file gdb with a .5 cell size.  Any thoughts on how i would get that to display at all scales?  Any help will be appreciated!

Hi  Jake,

Try building pyramids on the raster dataset (right-click on the raster in the Catalog window > Build Pyramids).

For other users, I just wanted to note that this did not work for me when rasters are stored in a file geodatabase; works if stored in folder. Not sure what the workaround it for geodatabase rasters.
