NITF display problems in ArcMap 10.1

I'm am having issues with NITF images displaying the correct extents. I have notice this when displaying multiple NITF images together and the adjacent NITF images should be touching each other but instead there are gaps of up to 40 meters.  Part of the image is cut off on the boundaries of the image. I know this because Erdas Imagine displays these NITFs correctly with no gaps and no cut off along the boundaries. I have also read the NITF headers and created a polygon shapefile for each NITF using image extents in the NITF header. ArcMap displays the shapefile correctly with no gaps between adjacent polygons. In ArcMap 10.0 these same NITFs are displayed seamlessly with no gaps.

Has anyone else notice this problem and know if it there is a work around on maybe setting that needs to be set within ArcMap 10.1?
I am currently have Service Pack 1 for 10.1.

Thanks

Unfortunately I cannot send you these NITFs. If you have any questions about the NITF, I can try and answer them.

Justin--
Did you get this issue worked out?

I've had various wrestling matches with NITF images in ArcMap (various versions).

if you didn't find a solution, I wonder if under Customize-->ArcMap Options-->Raster-->Raster Layer, the box is checked next to Display Background Value.  And if so it may be that it's checked to show band value 0 or 256 as white and/or "Display NoData as White"

I'd be interested to know how you solved this issue.
