I built a Geodatabase parcel fabric to test out.  I was able to import my current parcel feature class data just the way I wanted.  I was able to add the parcels that didn't make it through the processor.  Now I need to bring that geodatabase parcel fabric into my SDE.  Problem is I can't figure out how.  Is there no way to do this?

Hello Roger,

Congratulations on creating your parcel fabric, that is good news.  The next step is to right click and copy the entire Feature Dataset that contains your Parcel Fabric and paste it into a SDE GeoDatabase.

Then all you have to do is register it as versioned, create some versions for your editors to use and start editing!  Let me know if you need some additional help.

Sadly that didn't work.  Though I did try drag and drop, copy and paste, tried just the parcel fabric piece, tried selecting the entire feature data set, tried to import (that doesn't work of course because its not really an option) and then i banged my head against the wall for a while which not surprising didnt work either.  I am now rebuilding it in SDE which is painful.  I started with over 85,000 parcels to import.  65,000 to go.  Sigh.

Can you provide an error message?

"Failed to paste Stanco_fabric  The paste operation on the dataset is not supported in the target release of the GeoDatabase"

All I can figure is that the SDE server is behind a version in comparison to my ArcInfo Desktop.
