Hello, I am having issues with the above topic.  I am trying to add 4 band and 8 band multispectral worldview 2 imagery to the same mosaic dataset.  The issue is that they are in NITF file format and in the raster type properties, if I select NITF, I am unable to choose which bands I want to use.  I would like to use the raster type property for worldview 2 but Arc does not recognize the NITF as being WV.  The end goal is to choose the bands and only display the RGB bands in the mosaic dataset.

Thanks for the help

Per the help documentation, it is recommended that you,
When using commercial NITF imagery, such as Quickbird, GeoEye, IKONOS, WorldView-1, WorldView-2, or RapidEye, you will want to first ingest one image into the mosaic dataset using the NITF raster type. This will create a mosaic dataset using the NITF fields. Then use the sensor-specific raster type to add the remaining imagery. When the first image is added it will create the NITF fields, any subsequent additions of imagery will populate the fields accordingly.

So in this workflow, you should add one raster as a NITF and then it should work once the fields are set.  Within the Worldviews properties, there is an option to select the bands that you are looking to add.

Also if you prefer to add them all and only choose the ones to display there is the Extract Bands Function.
