Importing shapefile to CAD- location off

Hi,

I'm having trouble importing a shapefile into CAD...I set the projection/coordinate system to exactly what the 'drawing settings' are in CAD but the shapefile doesn't come in to the right location: the coordinates are about 5 degrees off.

Unfortunately I can only control the shapefile side of the problem, not the CAD part. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Importing a ESRI shape file into CAD is always difficult. Plain AutoCAD won't import Shapefiles, but AutoCAD Map/Civil3D will. Try installing third party Add-ons.

Using AutoCAD MAP to Import a SHP file of contour data and run a MAP Query to set the contour elevation properties.
