Hi,
I'm a little confused about how image server works with dynamic services & I wonder if someone could explain it to me.
I have a mosaic dataset, which I have added to an MXD & published as a service in the usual way.
I have also discovered that you can also the mosaic in its own right as an image service (athough it seems to lose the footprints) which I am assuming I can add to an MXD & publish also. Which would be the fastest rendering? Does the standard dynamic service also use image server behind the scenes?
I need the footprint layer because I am using it to label the images
Any advice?
