I have a shape file representing water lines. I am adding a field to represent diameter. If I save this map, exit arcgis, then open arcgis and call this map, i am getting the error about number of shapes does not match the number of table records. It works fine, until I add this new field. Any idea what might be causing this? Thanks for any input!
